Privacy Policy

Overview

LaunchPix is an app store screenshot mockup generator. Your privacy matters — we collect minimal data and never sell personal information.

Data We Collect

• Images you upload — app screenshots are processed entirely on your device unless you explicitly use a server-powered AI Design Assistant action (see below). In that case, the screenshot or reference you choose is sent to our AI provider for analysis.
• App preferences — your selected device, template settings, and export count are stored locally on your device using localStorage (web) or app storage (native). This data never leaves your device unless you enable cloud sync.
• Analytics events — we collect anonymous usage events (e.g., export completed, device selected) through PostHog and Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used and improve features. These events do not contain personally identifiable information.
• Crash reports — Firebase Crashlytics collects anonymous crash data (stack traces, device model, OS version) to help us fix bugs. No personal data is included.
• Payment information — purchases are processed by Stripe (web) or Apple/Google (native) through RevenueCat. We never see or store your credit card details. We receive only a confirmation of your purchase tier.

Cloud Sync (Plus & Pro)

If you sign in and have a Plus or Pro tier, your saved templates are synced via Firebase Firestore (Plus: up to 10 templates; Pro: unlimited). This data is stored securely under your user account and is only accessible by you. You can delete your synced data at any time by removing templates from the app.

AI Design Assistant (Optional)

LaunchPix offers three optional design-assistance actions:

• Match Colors — runs entirely on your device. The reference is analyzed locally to extract its palette and never leaves your device.
• Improve My Design — when you choose Current Design, a temporary rendered copy of the complete canvas and its editable style settings are sent to Anthropic. When you choose Upload Previous, the finished design you select is sent instead. These inputs generate three suggested presentation directions. If “Keep my captions” is enabled, your current headline, subtitle, and supporting line are included so they can be preserved.
• Match Reference Style — the reference you choose, plus sanitized settings and visible captions from your current LaunchPix design, are sent to Anthropic to transfer the reference’s visual treatment. LaunchPix preserves your screenshot, visible wording, feature labels, and badge claim; reference branding, artwork, screenshots, labels, and claims are not imported.

Images sent for these AI actions are used only to generate the response and are not stored by LaunchPix. Anthropic does not train its models on data submitted through its API. Server-powered AI actions only run after you explicitly select them.

Authentication

Sign-in is optional. It is used to deliver watermark-free exports on your tier and to enable cloud template sync. We use Firebase Authentication with email and password. We store your user ID and email address solely to associate your account with your purchases and synced templates.

Data Retention

Local data persists until you clear your browser/app data. Analytics events are retained per the default retention policies of PostHog and Firebase. Cloud-synced templates are retained until you delete them or delete your account.

Children's Privacy

LaunchPix is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Your Rights

You can clear all local data by clearing your browser storage or uninstalling the app. To request deletion of analytics data or synced templates, contact us at the email below.

Changes

We may update this policy as features evolve. The effective date above will reflect the latest revision.
